Overcoming KPI Overkill: Get Metrics that Matter
October 6, 2022 | 12 noon to 1 pm (ET)

Now that legal departments have access to massive amounts of data, there's a new problem: KPI overkill. Legal managers are learning the hard way that just because they can measure something doesn't mean they should.

While it’s important to have strategic KPI metrics that measure against objectives and goals, tracking and reporting KPIs takes effort and resources. So if your KPIs aren't leading to improved processes, they're not helping you manage your business.

Join us as we look at how the legal department can begin to be more intentional about objectives and how they are measured, as well as the challenges and obstacles to making this shift.

Collaborating Via Tech: Empower Your Team
November 24, 2022 | 12 noon to 1 pm (ET)

Digital competence is a must-have for all legal professionals. Since the pandemic, legal teams have adopted dozens of new platforms to manage workloads, communicate with staff, coordinate projects, get approvals and more.

But the speed at which we were forced to accept these new ways of working meant very little adjustment time. So while our new digital reality has brought opportunities and connections not possible before, it has also contributed to burnout, confusion and overall stress.

Join us to find out how legal tech can enhance teamwork and how you can leverage this opportunity in your department.

Shifting a Negative Mindset: Create More Positivity in Your Life
January 26, 2023 | 12 noon to 1 pm (ET)

We are hardwired for negativity, which can have some less-than-desirable effects on how we feel, think and act. Having a negative mindset can affect our performance as legal professionals in addition to our overall wellness. Join Adriane David of Mindfully Yours as she explores how our minds work and leads us through exercises to retrain our brains to be more positive. Topics include:

  • Negativity bias, other biases and heuristics - how these impact legal professionals
  • Positive interventions
  • Gratitude interventions
  • Recognizing and shifting mindset from fixed to growth
  • Optimism versus pessimism, and cultivating resilience to improve lawyer wellness
